LC Liquid-Cooled
In 1980 YAMAHA launch it first liquid-cooled motorcycle: the RD350LC. The first model without thermostatic valve had some problem to keep the standard working temperature in winter so rider put some scotch on the radiator to reduce the efficiency of it. In '83 on first YPVS model YAMAHA add a thermostatic valve, so no more winter problems...
